PowerSwing Index - power swing is a new measure that I developed to help short-term swing trading. It is a variant of Measure power (see above) using the larger time period. Galanthus, measures the extent to which the market moves straight from day to day. It is interpreted similar to Measure Power, and identifies Galanthus uptrend, downtrend, and neutral markets on a swing basis. Just as a measure of power can be collected to create a cumulative trend index (CTI, see above), PowerSwing can gather to create a cumulative index PowerSwing. This medium-term look at trends for long-term traders.
