cross-currency trading

cross-currency trading

Interbank Market

The majority of Forex is done through what is known as the Interbank market. All leading banks in world trade with each electronically through only two platforms, EB and Reuters Dealing 3000 matching point. Both offer trading in major currency pairs and the two continually try to catch one another's market shares.
As a general rule here is a list of currencies dominated by each platform. Normally, cross-currency trading will not occur during or platform, but instead are calculated on the basis of the rates of major currency pairs.
