Current account
Definition: Balance of trade plus NET investment income and transfers. The difference between what the country earns and spends overseas. ¥ ¡¡The current account | specifically deals with everyday transactions recur during ordinary business. It involves international receipts and payments including trading receipts and payments, service receipts and payments and unilateral transfers such as payment of royalties, repatriation of profits after tax and dividends, remittance of after-tax wages and other income from foreign workers and any payment of interest on foreign debts.
