T Shirt Printing To Give Your Shirts Distinction From The Rest

By Danis Keithly

T shirt printing separates a regular shirt from the one you want to wear. Basic plain t-shirts look neat, but the printed ones can turn heads if they have the correct style. T shirt printing gives t-shirts differentiation from the others. The print can give t-shirt uniqueness and identity from the plain ones.

In t shirt printing, you can either do it yourself or commission a firm to do it for you. For buyers, there is always a limited choice range available for t-shirt prints. This may work to your advantage. If you are thinking of starting your own t-shirt retail business, you just don't need a good design, you need a great one.

Naturally, know-how on t shirt printing is best. You have to know the correct measures on how to plaster your design on the t-shirt and the various techniques of printing. However, even if you don't have the materials or adequate knowledge of the process, you can still have the t-shirt business that you crave by having others to do it for you if you have a great design idea.

Printing methods on t-shirts have various types. You can have your design silkscreened or screen printed. While inexpensive and fit for printing huge quantity of garments, this process is not advisable to be used for photo quality images. However, t shirt printing this way is said to be still the simplest technique. If your design requires quite a number of paints, printing companies can accommodate the request, which may prove to be cheaper than buying the paints yourself.

Other methods of t shirt printing are the direct-to-garment technique and the heat transfer printing. D-T-G requires the process of directly printing the ink onto the garment, while heat transfer demands the design to be transferred on a carrier paper then printed onto the shirt by heat pressure.

There are other more ways employed in printing t-shirts, some even involves stitching and laser technology. The technique you choose should depend on the look you want your t-shirts to achieve.
